Three Days of Fun, Food, and Friendship!

You are invited to join recreational cyclists arriving from all over for the Atlantic Canada Bicycle Rally! Bicycle madness will hit Prince Edward Island this August.

The Montague area welcomes the return of the ACBR for its third visit.

   
 
The ACBR is a three-day festival. It is filled with social events and recreational bike rides. It is for all ages and levels of cycling. Several families take part, and over 20 seniors enjoyed the event in 2006. People come from far and wide to enjoy the rally. A proven success, the festival is building on almost two decades of well-received gatherings.

Plans are being made for everyone, from “all-day dawdlers” to “sport riders”. The bicycles range from high-tech show bikes, to clunkers from the back of the garage. Many long-time cyclists take part in the ACBR, but we also welcome those new to bicycling, and their enthusiasm is infectious. We guarantee every participant will feel a part of this event.

The ACBR is as much a social event as it is a cycling one. Picnics, a lobster banquet, and a dance complement the safest and most scenic bicycle tours the eastern side of Prince Edward Island can offer. Music will fill the air, and fresh food from both the land and sea will be enjoyed in the great outdoors. We are going to have a fabulous party from August 2nd to 4th.
