    Accommodation
Our trip will be a tent camping adventure. It is possible for non-campers to attend. A limited number of Bed and Breakfasts and motels are along our route. If indoor lodgings are from our supported list, we will assist with the transport of their gear to and from our campsites. Due to the popularity of the area, early reservations are strongly recommended. Upon request, a listing of motels and Bed and Breakfasts will be sent with confirmation.

Meals
Each cyclist can have their own choice of dining. Some prepare meals at our campsites. Participants buy food daily at designated spots and we transport it to the end point. There they will find stoves, cooking equipment, and cutlery - no need to bring any of that gear to the tour. Others prefer to enjoy as many restaurants as the route allows. We will provide a list each day of what you will find along our route.

Baggage System
Each morning you will bring your baggage to our truck. You are then free to ride at your own pace. Your bags will be waiting for you upon your arrival at the next campground or indoor selection.

Tour Support
During the ride, our support vehicle will be at your service if you need a lift or other assistance. Maps and information materials will help guide you along the way.

Preparation and Equipment
We will carry whatever you feel you need to enjoy the tour. You must supply your own tent and sleeping bag. We will not subject your gear to weighing scales or bag limits. We ask, however, that you do not overdo things- (please - no TVs!)

Atlantic Canada Cycling Shuttle:
Low-cost transportation organized by ACC leaves early in the afternoon the day before our tour. It stops at downtown Halifax, Halifax Airport, and the Truro Via Rail Station. Space is limited - contact us for the shuttle schedule and details before booking flights or trains
.

Air:
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island has direct connections with Toronto, Montreal, and Detroit. Several flights go per day from Halifax, Nova Scotia - Charlottetown Airport. It is not far from the airport into town.

Halifax, Nova Scotia -
The major connecting airport for Atlantic Canada, Halifax has been selected as the best medium-sized airport in the world - see two interesting sites Fly Halifax, and Halifax International Airport. It has service from all major Canadian cities. It also has runs from U.S.A. connecting hubs such as Boston, Newark, New York, and Detroit. European cities connect to Halifax through London, England. Airlines to Halifax include Air Canada, Westjet, Porter Air, American Airlines, Continental, Delta, Icelandair,Northwest Airlines, United

Halifax Airport is about 230 km (140 miles) from our tour start at Charlottetown by way of the ferry at Caribou, NS or 350 km (214 miles) by way of the Confederation Bridge.

Road:
You can reach PEI by way of the Confederation Bridge. It starts from the south-east corner of the province of New Brunswick. New and fast highways cross New Brunswick to the bridge from both the state of Maine in the USA, or northward from Quebec.

Taking the ferries from Maine (Catferry) to Nova Scotia then to PEI is a scenic route, but not efficient way to get to PEI. It can be part of a big loop to and from the island. Bay Ferries operate a ferry connecting the east end of PEI with Nova Scotia which can offer an alternate drive to or from the tour.

Train:
The nearest train station is at Sackville, New Brunswick. Moncton, New Brunswick has more connecting transportation. The train station at Truro, Nova Scotia is a stop on the ACC shuttle pickup. Trains originate from Montreal, Quebec by Viarail. The train runs six days per week. It is possible to connect to Montreal by rail further west in Canada by Via and from the USA by Amtrak.

Bus:
Busses connect to Borden-Carleton, Prince Edward Island. Travellers with bicycles are not treated with first-class style. If baggage holds are full bikes may be held back Acadian Lines.
