Visit
one of the prettiest villages in Nova
Scotia! Halls Harbour is an important
lobster port, It is visited twice daily
by the Bay of Fundy's huge tides, which
leave its boats high and dry. Your route
will follow pleasant country roads on
your way to the bay. Cosy farmhouses
lie surrounded by cultivated fields,
and fruit-laden orchards. On top of
the ridge before your descent you will
pass mostly woods. To get there, the
in the Nova Scotia Bicycle Book
has You face two big hills. Both involve
negotiating the North Mountain. There
is only one store after Port Williams,
in Halls Harbour itself, so backup is
recommended, in the event both are closed.
