Tour 23 Noel Shore

Distance: 214 km (127 miles)

Starting Point: Windsor; Truro; Brooklyn

Region: Central Nova Scotia

Terrain: Very Hilly

Easy- that's how you would describe your task of finding the most notable feature of this region. Here flow the largest tides in the world, rising to a height of 14 meters (42 feet)! A land of magic, mystery, and legend, the Noel Shore follows old shipbuilding ports, horse stables, poultry farms, and quiet cliff-lined shores. There are a number of fair-sized hills.

Called the Glooscap Trail, after the Mic Mac god, this unknown route is a tour outlined in the Nova Scotia Bicycle Book . It runs between Truro and Windsor. A good return route is suggested, to allow a loop tour from either direction. There is also an abandoned train right-of-way for off-road riding.
