A Good Place to Go Biking
Since Atlantic Canada is located in a corrner of North America it has avoided becoming industrialized.

Atlantic Canada marine scend

Blue Rocks, Nova Scotia - one of the most scenic marine villages of the world

Since it is at the eastern edge of the continent, there never has been much industrial development. There are few large cities, and the setting is overwhelmingly rural.

The main features of the region are its seacoasts. Comprised of islands and peninsulas, there are hundreds of harbours and bays. This has resulted in its maritime traditions and livelihoods

Atlantic Canada's settlements, by North American standards, are quite old. It was one of the earliest places on the continent to be explored, and later settled, by Europeans.

The background is stable and deeply rooted. The pace is relaxed, and people are considered friendly, and helpful. Because of this, Atlantic Canada is one of the best places in all the world for solo and women travelers.
