Bonjour! Accessible from Prince
Edward Island, Isle de la Madeleine, (known
also as the Magdalen Islands), is a part of the province of Quebec.
Because of the access being primarily from Prince Edward Island,
as well as sharing the Gulf of St. Lawrence with the Atlantic
Provinces these islands are considered part of the Atlantic Canada
"family".
English and French have shared the Islands together
in harmony for centuries. Being in the middle of the vast and
mighty Gulf of St. Lawrence, climate is an extremely important
factor for any trip. Wind is the major player, as the islands
power generators will attest.
Transportation from Quebec is possible, however,
most make their way there from Souris, Prince Edward Island.
