Magdalen Islands (Isle de la Madeleine) [Quebec]
   
     

Bonjour! Accessible from Prince Edward Island, Isle de la Madeleine, (known also as the Magdalen Islands), is a part of the province of Quebec. Because of the access being primarily from Prince Edward Island, as well as sharing the Gulf of St. Lawrence with the Atlantic Provinces these islands are considered part of the Atlantic Canada "family".

English and French have shared the Islands together in harmony for centuries. Being in the middle of the vast and mighty Gulf of St. Lawrence, climate is an extremely important factor for any trip. Wind is the major player, as the islands power generators will attest.

Transportation from Quebec is possible, however, most make their way there from Souris, Prince Edward Island.
