Atlantic Canada Bicycle Rally – 1988 Lunenburg

The encore of the Atlantic Canada Bicycle Rally was held in the Nova Scotia seaside town of Lunenburg. It again was an over the top event, including a parade of cyclists through town and the mayor invited to start the event. It again included many rides per day, bicycle field day, all meals provided, special guests, head table, and a lobster banquet.  A big crowd was in attendance.  Like other early rallies, many photos have been lost.  Lunenburg and the county area are always included on Atlantic Canada Cycling’s Nova Scotia Bicycle Tour.
