Atlantic Canada Bicycle Rally – 2008 Montague

The final Atlantic Canada Bicycle Rally. The huge amount of work involved by organizer Gary and dwindling pool of volunteers brought about the decision announce it as the final ACBR. Perhaps symbolic, a serious storm system arrived with three days of driving hard rain. True to the great spirit and friendship created by this wonderful event many on hand soldiered on, even riding in downpours to Panmure Island, Georgetown, and Murray Harbour. For the post-rally camping tour, the skies cleared and participants had a great time on our Prince Edward Island East Bicycle Tour, spending a week exploring PEI.
