Folks on Spokes is a bicycle group for seniors, aged 50 and older, plus interested visitors to Fredericton.The group started in 2000 under the guidance of Lois MacDougall with only a few cyclists. Each year since there has been a steady increase in the number of people participating. The group meets every Tuesday from May through Octoberat at the Trail Visitor Center and bike an estimated 40-50 km each trip. Not all folks go the full route as some may have other commitments and go 20 or less.
