The Oxtail is a trailer designed to be towed by any adult sized bicycle. The simplicity of the Oxtail bicycle trailer makes it the ideal choice for a wide variety of uses. Originally designed in 1995 (Pat APP Nº GB 9504408.7)the Oxtail was made to fit all types of adult cycles but mainly modeled around the Mountain bike and designed to go wherever a Mountain Bike can go with total reliability and maximum ease of use. To enable serious overland use the Oxtail trailer has to use a one wheel design the wheel having an aluminum rim laced to an alloy hub with 36 spokes. The trailer attaches to the seat stem and not the rear axle of your cycle, so the rear suspension of your cycle is not compromised.
